We made some optimizations that allowed us to double the speed of the login queue. Our plan is to remove the queue that occurs after a game ends as soon as we can.
One of our next priorities is fixing names. Around 2% of players have missing or wrong names. It will be resolved.

Things aren’t perfect, but they are much better than yesterday. We implemented a login queue, and once you’re in, you can actually play. The login queue occurs after each game, which sucks, but it’s a short-term solution and better than crashing servers. More fixes coming.

We’ve identified 2 issues: game servers and lobby servers. Fixing game servers will allow everyone who connects to play. Fixing lobby servers will allow everyone to connect. Actively working on fixes. Game servers first. Will continue to provide updates.

We’ve temporarily disabled Play vs. Bots and Custom games to funnel everyone into 4v4 Normal games to reduce strain on the servers. There are still issues with logging in, but if you manage to get in, you should be able to play. Games may be laggy. Still working on it.

Thank you to everyone that got the game. We’re truly blown away by your support.
We wanted to apologize for the server issues. It’s really frustrating. We can’t even play ourselves.
We’re a 2-man indie team. We spent $70 total on marketing. We really had no idea what to expect. Our goal before launch was to break our alpha record of 400 concurrent players. We should have been asking ourselves “how do we scale the servers to support 10,000 players logging in simultaneously?” The number of login attempts was 2000 times more than during alpha testing, which we didn’t anticipate.
With that said, it’s still our fault for not expecting this. We’re hard at work on fixes. Rest assured the game will be playable. There isn’t some evil conspiracy plan to keep the servers off forever.
If anyone feels more comfortable refunding the game and getting it again when things are more stable, please do that. It’s your money and you have a right to feel secure.
We’ll be updating you guys as soon as we have good news to share.

It’s like a tower defense, but instead of building towers, you deploy dynamic fighters that come to life and move, attack, and cast spells automatically. Defend your lane against waves of enemies and hire mercenaries to attack your opponents. To win, you must defeat the opposing team’s king before they defeat yours. From start to finish, a match lasts around 25 minutes.
